Ask Questions. Vent. Be Yourself. Breathe.

We need more community and less isolation! The Wiser Me wants to promote IN-PERSON connection, create opportunities for fun, and offer women's wellness education, primarily supporting the peri-menopausal and menopausal years which can be rough.

Check out pictures from our first four events in Marin County, California -- such a blast!

NEXT EVENT: DECEMBER 4TH HOLIDAY HAPPENING @BOOMERANG LOUNGE IN MILL VALLEY, CA

We're working on a guide for how you can create your own local 'The Wiser Me' community.

We are also NOT going to create another online community supporting the Menopausing cohort. There's already some marvelous options out there. Keep scrolling below for a few worth exploring.

Find Support in These Online Communities

Love this... "while there’s no one-size fits all, we support each other on this roller coaster ride of wacked out hormones, absurd mood swings and random sweaty hot flashes. Be kind. Be respectful. We are all in this together!" And we had this same quote written down - "Menopause isn't really that bad.... said no woman ever."

A supportive Menopause Community where you can be yourself. We really like this one because it's so accessible and it's free, but then again we're already Reddit fans.

Created way back in 2016 by Shirley Weir, one of the OGs who prioritized providing midlife support for the Menopausal woman. This private Facebook group has 57,000 members and states "we are mission-driven, trust-worthy and intentional."

Private non-medical group that has over 148,000 members and it was started in 2013. There is no product selling nor self promotion allowed so that ticks our boxes.

Dr. Mary Claire Haver's free online community for connection and resources. You have to register in order to join.

Dr. Louise Newsom (UK-based) generates a lot of quality content on the website, but there's also the Balance Community exclusively on the app.

Marcella Hill founded 'Wake Her Up' during her own perimenopause journey. She wrote a book and also started a Perimenopause Facebook Community which is active with over 45,000 members who are telling their stories and offering support and advice.
